Arsenal Football Club have confirmed the acquisition of Brazilian international Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United on a long-term contract ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Guimarães arrives as a major addition to Mikel Arteta’s midfield engine room, joining an established setup that already features Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard. The 28-year-old departs Newcastle following 195 competitive outings for the club, during which he helped guide them to a Carabao Cup victory.
