Chelsea Football Club has secured a multi-year global partnership with industrial AI specialist IFS. Effective immediately, IFS steps in as the club’s Principal Partner, with its branding set to feature on the front of both the men’s and women’s shirts for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.

Chelsea FC’s IFS deal official Confirmation

The deal was officially unveiled on the club’s website on Friday, February 20, 2026. This agreement ensures that the IFS logo will be prominently displayed on the matchday kits of both the men’s and women’s squads through the end of the current season.

On-Pitch Debut

Fans will see the new sponsorship in action this weekend. Liam Rosenior’s men’s side will debut the branded kits during Saturday’s Premier League fixture against Burnley, while Sonia Bompastor’s team will follow suit in Sunday’s Women’s FA Cup showdown against Manchester United.

Future Outlook

While Chelsea has categorized this as a “multi-year” alliance, the club has yet to confirm whether IFS will remain the primary shirt sponsor beyond the 2025/26 season. For now, the focus remains on the immediate rollout across this weekend’s high-profile fixtures in both the Premier League and the FA Cup.

Historical Context: Playing Without a Sponsor

Chelsea’s recent history has been marked by several notable periods without a primary shirt sponsor, specifically at the start of the last three seasons:

  • 2023–24 Season: The Blues kicked off the year with a clean kit, eventually reaching an agreement with Infinite Athlete well into the campaign.
  • 2024–25 Season: In a repeat of the previous year, the club played most of the season with unbranded shirts until a short-term deal was struck with DAMAC Properties in the final weeks (April–May 2025).
  • 2025–26 Season: Continuing the trend, Chelsea began this current season without a front-of-shirt sponsor, marking the third consecutive year they have started a campaign with a blank kit.
