Lionel Messi reaches 100-goal mark at Inter Miami

The fixture carried extra personal significance for the world champion, as he surpassed another historic career benchmark. Connecting with a 24th-minute cross from Luis Suárez, Messi’s precise header marked his 100th goal across all competitions for Inter Miami -becoming the first player in franchise history to reach triple digits.

The forward achieved the 100-goal milestone in just 115 appearances for the Herons. His scoring record spans four campaigns:
