JAMB admission policy, cut-off mark meeting holds on May 11th

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has scheduled its 2026 Policy Meeting on Admission for May 11, 2026, at the Body of Benchers Auditorium in Abuja. Announced by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the Board’s Head of Media and Publication, the summit will convene heads of tertiary institutions, registrars, and admission officers alongside representatives from regulatory bodies like the NUC, NCCE, and NBTE.

Beyond establishing the 2026 minimum cut-off marks, the policy meeting serves to define national admission guidelines and review application statistics and performance data. Stakeholders will also finalize concessional standards and evaluate the previous year’s admission cycle.

Additionally, the event will feature the 6th National Tertiary Admissions Performance-Merit Awards (NATAP-M), which honors institutions that demonstrate excellence and strict adherence to admission protocols.
