Context of the Verdict
The independent commission’s ruling concluded a lengthy investigation into more than 100 alleged breaches spanning the 2009/10 through 2017/18 seasons.The findings outline that the club utilized “sham” commercial contracts to artificially inflate revenues and disguise financial positions, alongside failing to cooperate fully with investigators.
