Tyson Fury has updated fans regarding his proposed mega-fight against Anthony Joshua, declaring that the highly anticipated clash is no longer happening.

Posting on social media this Sunday, the former heavyweight champion accused Joshua of withdrawing from the contest, voicing anger over ongoing delays in locking down a date and location. Fury indicated that he is prepared to pursue other opportunities rather than wait indefinitely for Joshua’s team.

Why did Tyson Fury suspended fight with Anthony Joshua?

Disagreements over the event’s location have served as the primary obstacle. Fury’s camp favored hosting the bout in the United States, targeting New York’s Madison Square Garden. Conversely, Joshua’s side campaigned to keep the match in the United Kingdom, putting forward London’s Wembley Stadium as the ideal host site.

Despite Fury’s announcement, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn disputed the claim that the deal is dead. Hearn asserted that a legally binding contract is still active and that Joshua has not pulled out, leaving room for discussions to resume.
