Coventry City FC
Founded in 1883 as Singers F.C. before adopting their current name in 1898, Coventry City FC has a rich history in English football. Prominently known as “The Sky Blues,” the club adopted its iconic identity and sky blue home kit in 1962 under manager Jimmy Hill.
The club played in the top flight for 34 consecutive seasons between 1967 and 2001, highlighting their history with a famous FA Cup triumph in 1987. After earning promotion back to the top flight, Coventry City competes in the Premier League.
