JAMB has strictly mandated that the 2026 UTME/DE registration must only be conducted at accredited Computer Based Test (CBT) centres.
Standard cybercafés are not authorized to perform this registration. Using an unaccredited center can lead to issues with your biometric data, profile code linking, or even total disqualification.
2026 Registration Timeline & Fees
The Board has released the specific dates and pricing for the current session. Please take note of the following:
- E-PIN Vending Starts: Monday, 19th January 2026.
- Official Registration Window: Monday, 26th January – Saturday, 28th February 2026.
- Direct Entry (DE) Registration: Starts Monday, 2nd March 2026 (only at JAMB State/Zonal offices).
- Main UTME Examination: Begins Thursday, 16th April 2026.

How to Find accredited JAMB CBT centres
Under a new 2026 policy, any examination town with fewer than three accredited centres may be ineligible to host exams to ensure system integrity.
- Check the Official List: You can view the full list of approved centres by state on the official JAMB portal.
- State Offices: Every state capital has a JAMB State Office which is always an accredited registration point.
- Biometric Verification: Ensure that only your own ten fingers are captured during the process; this is your only protection against impersonation.
