Fast-rising Nigerian songstress, Candy Bleakz collaborates with Studio Brat CEO – Simi for the official music video for this debut 2024 release tagged “Wale (Remix),” produced by Yo X.
“Wale” is a personal and autobiographical summation of Candy Bleakz’s grind and hustle and the tradeoffs she’s endured for her success. In a musical context, Candy explains, through evocative lyrics, her personal stories and experiences of making a success of her music while her mother longingly pines for her presence.
To further drive home the message, she enlists the support of RnB powerhouse, Simi. This remains the much needed collaboration we didn’t know we needed as both ladies break through the genre limitations to deliver one number- same story, one voice, one message.
