Chelsea’s player maker, Eden Hazard says he is confuse about signing a new contract at Stamford Bridge or a possible move to Real Madrid, Sky Sports reports.
The attacking midfielder says he is ready to discuss extending his deal with Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich, but insist he still has the ambition to play for the Spanish giants.
The Belgium international will enter the final year of his current contract at the end of this season, but don’t want to follow the same route as Thibaut Courtois, who pushed through a move to Real Madrid this summer.
Hazard told reporters after scoring his eight English Premier League Goal this season in the 3-0 win at Southampton on Sunday, he said “I don’t want that.
“I want the best for me and also want what’s good for the club because Chelsea has given me everything.
” I won’t promise that I will sign a new contract and in the end I don’t end up signing. Because, sometimes in my head, I wake up in the morning and think of going.
“It is a hard decision. Sometimes I think of staying. It is my future and I will turn 28 in January. ”
The 27-years-old spoke of his desire to move to Real Madrid after the World Cup and still believes he has one big move left in his career.
“That’s why i made comments after the world cup and I said it is time to change because I played a great world cup.”
“I am really in the game and I am playing good football at the moment. I don’t want to lie today, Real Madrid is the best club in the world,” he added.
