Nigerian Afrofusion singer Burna Boy has won the “Best International Act Category” at the 2021 edition of the BET Awards.
Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy won his third BET Awards in a row as the “Best International Act” at the just concluded Black Entertainment Television awards ceremony, making him the only Nigerian and African artist to win the award back to back three times in 2021.
The year 2021 has been massive so far for the ‘Ye’ crooner. Earlier in the year, the singer won his first Grammy award, which he received the plaque few weeks ago. On like the other times, Burna Boy was present to receive his award in person to load cheers from the audience.
