AKA Burna Boy South Grammy

Finally!! Popular South African Rapper, AKA has reacted to Burna Boy’s Grammy Award Loss.

This is coming few months after the rapper had a longtime social media war with the “Anybody” singer due to his remarks on the last Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, which ended their longtime friendship in 2019. However, in reaction to Burna Boy losing the Grammy award, AKA took to Twitter to reveal that he never hated the singer and went on to call him a champion despite loosing to a Beninese singer, Angelique Kidjo.

He wrote, “I never hated Burna Boy. All I did was stand up for my country. I think it’s time to move past this narrative. It’s tired. Like I said, even a nomination is a huge achievement.

In a separate tweet, he wrote; “What you should have done is focus on the positive instead of thinking about me and my country. In any case, Burna is still a champion. We still consider him a winner.”
