Olamide pens down New Deal With US base Record Label, Empire

YBNL General, Olamide Badoo has penned down a new deal with an American based record label, Empire.

Shortly after Olamide dropped his 9th project “999” EP, the African rapper just signed a deal with American record label and distribution company popularly known as Empire. The imprint is known to be associated with hip hop music acts like Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, SZA and other top notches in the US.

The ‘Rich + Famous‘ crooner announced the new collaboration between his own record label, YBNL and Empire via his Instagram page. He shared photos of himself signing the contract with the caption, “@empire @ybnlmafiafamily JV = time to shake the world”; With this, the rapper becomes the first Nigerian hip hop act to be signed to the record label.
