Olamide Acknowledge Don Jazzy’s Mo’Hits Record impact in the Nigerian Music Industry

YBNL Nation kingpin, Olamide has acknowledged the impact of Don Jazzy’s former Record Label, Mo’Hits in the Nigerian Music Industry.

The label was founded by Don Jazzy in 2006 alongside D’Banj as the co-founder. The label saw the break out of artistes like Wande Coal, K-switch, D’Prince and Dr Sid. It finally defunct in March 2012 due to D’banj and Wande Coal leaving the group. The label which was one of the biggest in the country at that time also attracted foreign interest from international acts like Kanye West and Jay-Z. Due to the impact of Mo’Hits during that period, Olamide who had been in the music industry for long now took to his Twitter handle to shower special accolades on Don Jazzy.

He also the not left other crew members unmentioned, stating that the label is the best thing to ever happen to the Nigerian music Industry. Baddo stated that the label gave good music and taught others the power of unity. He then thanked Don Jazzy, D’banj, and the rest of the team for motivating him.

He wrote; “Mo hits still one of the best thing to ever happen to NIGmusic industry . Gave us good music and thought us how to carry our brothers along. Even if they never come back together, still I say thanks to jazzy n banga n rest of the team for motivating us.”
